Friday night of Celebrate Weekend we do something different. 1929 Studios is getting together with the Toshi Clinch Productions Big Bands, to enjoy a night of live, swinging jazz and jazz dancing.

6pm-7pm Class 1 with Ramona and Kieran
7pm-8pm open dance/music
8pm-9pm Class 2 with Ramona and Kieran
9pm-10pm open dance/music

Brunswick Town Hall, 233 Sydney Rd, Brunswick Vic.
Cost
$20 per 2 hour block (includes 60 minute class and 60 minute open dance session)
$30 for the entire evening (2x 60 minute classes, 2x 60 minute open dance sessions)
Tickets for this event are not included with any other event passes, as this is a stand-alone event managed by Toshi Clinch Productions.
What
What makes this night so special? On this night, the musicians learn to dance, and take turns playing for each other. Musicians and dancers bring jazz to life, making sound visible, in the company of good friends and family.
A celebration of 2 big bands with 2 classes, and 2 social dance sets.
Toshi's two youth big bands are coming together to celebrate their year by playing for dancers, and learning how to dance themselves. Lindy hoppers and jazz dancers are celebrating _their_ year with a weekend of dancing. And they're all celebrating jazz together on Friday 18th November.
Each band will take turns playing for their classmates, who'll be ready to dance after a dance class with Kieran and Ramona (and all of you!)
The classes will be beginner classes (pitched to the band that's not playing at the time), but they will be fun, and open to everyone.
Whether you're a parent of a musician, a dancer, a musician, or simply a jazz fan, there'll be something to scratch your rhythmic itch. Come, celebrate with us!
